Biography

     Mohammed Issa Hussein has been working as a lecturer of physics at university of Salahaddin, college of science, department of physics. He graduated from college of Science, university of Salahaddin in 2003. He was then awarded MSc. Degree with the thesis entitled “Natural Radioactivity Measurements of Basalt Igneous Rocks at Sidakan District in Kurdistan Region-Iraq” from Physics Department College of Science, Salahaddin University in 2011. He then got appointed as an assistant lecturer at the same university. He was awarded PhD. Degree with a Dissertation entitled “Empirical Formulae to Determine the Astrophysical S-factor and Thermonuclear Reaction Rates of (α,n) and (p,n) Reactions Using Light and Medium Target Nuclei” from Physics Department College of Science, Salahaddin University in 2020.

     During his academic life he has taught, the following subjects for undergraduate students: General Physics for the second year in Geology department, Modern physics Lab of the second year students and Nuclear physics for the third year of physics students.He has participated in many international and local conferences and has published many scientific articles. 

He was member of:

1)    Kurdistan Teachers Union since 2010.

2)    Kurdistan Physicists' Syndicate since 2009.
